Letter from our Presidents

Welcome to the Twenty-Fifth Year of Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake!  We are truly excited and honored to serve as your Co-Presidents for the 2026–2027 year. Our goal is to build on the wonderful traditions that make NFTRL so special while introducing some new opportunities for learning, laughter, friendship, and community involvement.  As we look ahead to the year, we invite you to join us in embracing what makes NFTRL such a great organization:

N — New

This year, you can look forward to fresh ideas, interesting and informative programs, and opportunities to learn more about current issues that affect our community and beyond. We’ll also be bringing you new entertainment designed to make our gatherings enjoyable for everyone. We hope you’ll come ready to learn, laugh, and have fun!

F — Fun

Our Interest Groups continue to thrive, and we are excited to see new groups and activities develop each year. If you have a hobby, passion, or special interest that you’d love to share with others, we encourage you to talk with our Interest Group Co-Chairs about starting something new.  We also hope you’re enjoying the special touches that make our monthly luncheons fun, including Table Chats, Attendance Drawings, the 50/50 Raffle, and creative Table Décor.

T — Teamwork

NFTRL would not be the organization it is today without the incredible women who give their time, talents, and energy to make it successful. From our Board and Interest Group leaders to committee members, volunteers, and those who help with fundraising events, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.  If you haven’t found your place on a team yet but would like to get involved, we would love to connect you with an opportunity that fits your interests and talents. R — Relationships

At the heart of NFTRL are the friendships we build along the way. Our organization is beautifully summed up in our prayer: “There are no strangers, only friends we have not met.” Whether you are a brand-new member or have been part of NFTRL for many years, there are always opportunities to strengthen existing friendships and welcome new ones. We hope this year brings plenty of opportunities to connect, encourage one another, and make wonderful memories together.

L — Luncheons

Our monthly luncheons are at the center of so many of the wonderful things we do. We hope you’ll enjoy the time spent together, the programs and entertainment, and, of course, the delicious meals prepared for us by the Knights. Our Programs Committee works hard to bring you engaging speakers and entertaining programs throughout the year. We also offer an Alpha-Gal-friendly meal option for those who need it.

We hope you’ll join us each month with a spirit of friendship, enthusiasm, and fun. We are looking forward to an exciting year filled with new experiences, meaningful relationships, wonderful programs, and opportunities to serve our community.  Thank you for allowing us to serve as your Co-Presidents. We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to sharing it with all of you!
